Using the LCD Displa y Setting the Tim ing Mod e Setting t he timi ng mode is import ant for maximi zing the q uality of the scre en image an d m ini mi zing e ye stra in. Th e timing mode consists of the r e solution ( e x a mple 1 024 x 768 ) a nd r e f r e s h r a t e (or v e r t i c a l fr e qu e n c y ; example 75 H z).
Adjust ing the Sc reen Image Use the b uttons on the front co ntrol panel to display and adjust the OnV ie w ® controls which d isplay on the s creen. The On V iew controls are exp lained at the top of th e ne xt page and are def ined in “Main Menu C ontrols” on p age 9.
Do the f ollowing to adjust the scree n image: 1 T o display the Main Menu, press b utton [1]. N O T E : All On V i e w men u s a n d a d j u s t me n t s c r een s di sappear aut o mat i cally after about 30 s econds. 2 T o select a control you w an t to adjust, pres s ▲ or ▼ to scroll u p or do wn the Main Menu.
Main Menu Contr o ls Adjust the menu items sho wn belo w by using the up ▲ and do wn ▼ buttons . Contr ol Exp lanation A uto Ima ge Adjust automatically sizes, centers, and fine tunes the video signal to eliminate wa viness and distortion. Press the [2 ] b utton to obtain a sharper image.
Color Adjus t prov ides se veral col or adj ustment modes : preset color temperatures and RGB wh ich allows you to adjust red ( R ), green ( G ), and b lue ( B ) separately .
