Quic k In stallation 1 Connect vid eo cable Make sure both the V iewPanel ® and computer are powered OFF . Connect the VGA analog video cable to the computer then to the V iewP anel. Both analog and digital (DV I) ports are a vailable on the back of the View Panel for your con venience.

Using the Vie wP anel Setting the Timing Mode Setting the timing mode is important for maximizing the quality of the s creen image and minimizing eye strain. The timing mo de consists of the re solu tio n (ex ample 1 600 x 1200) and re fre sh r a t e (or ver t ical frequ ency--e xample 60 Hz).
Adjusting the Sc reen Imag e Use t he buttons on t he fron t contro l panel to disp lay and a djust th e O n View ® controls from V ie wSonic ® . The con trols are explained in the steps at the top of the next page and are further explained in the menu controls, page s8-1 1 .

Main Menu Controls The menu it ems sho wn below can be adjusted by using the up ▲ and down ▼ buttons. Contr ol Explanation A uto Image Adjust automatically sizes, centers, and f ine t unes the video signal to eliminate w aviness a nd distortion. Press the [2] b utton to obtain a sharper image.
Color Adjust pro vides two color adj ustment modes: Color T emperature Select as s ho wn below and User Color . Color T emperature Select allows you to choose a preset color temperature. User Color allo w s you to make individual adjustmen ts for red, green, and blue ( RGB).
Scaling adj usts t he video input s ignal to the s creen size u sing the listed options. Fill All will stretch the image to f ill the full screen. Fill Aspec t Ratio will stretch the image to fill one direction, while maintaining the a spect ratio. 1:1 will show the exact resolution of your video card setting, centered on y our scr een.
