Installation of W all Mount (Optional) T o obtain a wall-mounting kit, contact V ie wSonic or your local dealer . Refer to the instructions that come with the base mounting kit. T o con vert your LCD display from a desk-mounted to a wall-mounted display , do the follo wing: 1 Disconnect Po wer .
Using the LCD Displa y Setting the Timing Mode Setting the timing mode is important for maximizing the quality of the screen image and minimizing eye strain. The timing mode consists of the r esolution (example 1280 x 1024) and re fresh rate (or v ertical frequenc y; e xample 75 Hz).
Adjusting the Screen Image Use the b uttons on the front control panel to display and adjust the OnV iew ® controls which display on the screen. The OnV iew controls are e xplained at the top of the next page and are def ined in “Main Menu Controls” on page 9.
Do the f ollowing to adjust the screen ima ge: 1 T o display the Main Menu, press b utton [1]. NO TE: All OnV ie w menus and adjustment screens disappear automatically after about 30 seconds. This time period is adjustable through the Setup menu and the OSD timeout control described on page 11.
Main Menu Contr ols Adjust the menu items sho wn belo w b y using the up ▲ and do wn ▼ b uttons. Contr ol Explanation A uto Ima ge Adjust automatically sizes, centers, and fine tunes the video signal to eliminate wa viness and distortion. Press the [2] b utton to obtain a sharper image.
Inf ormation displays the timing mode (video signal input) coming from the graphics card in your computer . See your graphic card’ s user guide for instructions on changing the resolution and refresh rate (vertical frequenc y). VESA 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz (recommended) means that the resolution is 1280 x 1024 and the refresh rate is 60 Hertz.
H./V . P osition adjusts horizontal and vertical position of the screen image. Y o u can toggle between Horizontal and V ertical by pressing b utton [2]. Horizontal moves the screen image to the left or to the right. V ertical moves the screen image up and do wn.
Memory Recall returns adjustments to the original factory settings if the display is operating in a factory Preset T iming Mode listed in this user guide.
