Using the LCD Displa y Setting the Ti ming Mode Setting the timing m ode is important for maximizing th e quality of the scre en im age a nd m in imi zin g eye st rai n. Th e timing mode consists of the res o lu t i o n ( example 1 280 x 1 024 ) and re f re s h r a t e ( or vertical frequen cy; e xample 60 Hz).
Adjusting the Screen Ima g e Use the button s on the fron t control pane l to display and adjust the OnV ie w ® control s which di splay on the screen . The OnV ie w c ontrol s are explaine d at the top of the ne xt page and are def ined in “ Main Menu Controls” on page 9.

OSD Position allows you to move the on- scree n disp lay m enu s and con trol scree ns. OSD Timeout sets the length of time the on-screen d isplay scr een is disp layed. F or e xample, with a “30 s e co nd” set ting, if a contro l is not pushed within 30 se cond s , the display screen disappe ars.
