Using the LCD Display Setting the Timing Mode Setting the timing mode is important for maximizing the quality of the screen image and minimizing e ye strain. The timing mode consists of the r esolution (example 1024 x 768) and r efr esh rate (or vertical frequenc y; example 60 Hz).
Adjusting the Screen Image Use the b uttons on the front control panel to display and adjust the OnV iew ® controls which display on the screen. The OnV iew controls are e xplained at the 7 ViewSonic VE175 Front Contr ol Panel Main Menu with OnView controls Scroll through menu options and adjust the displa y ed control.

Information displays the timing mode (video signal input) coming from the graphics card in your computer . See your graphic card’ s user guide for instructions on changing the resolution and refresh rate (vertical frequenc y). VESA 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz (recommended) means that the resolution is 1280 x 1024 and the refresh rate is 60 Hertz.
Setup Menu displays the menu shown below. Explanation the menus and control screens. The Setup Menu controls are explained belo w . OSD P osition allo ws you to mov e the on-screen display menus and control screens. OSD Timeout sets the length of time an on-screen display screen is displayed.
