Quic k Installation 1 Connect video cable(s) Make sure both the monitor and computer are po wered OFF . The monitor can be connected to one or two computers using either the DB-15 video cable (included) or a BNC video cable (purchased separately).
Using the Monitor Setting the Timing Mode Setting the timing mode is important for maximizing the quality of the screen image and minimizing e ye strain. The timing mode consists of the r esolution (example 1280 x 1024) and ref re s h r a t e (or vertical frequenc y; example 75 Hz).
ViewSonic P220f 6 OSD Loc k Settings Y ou ha ve the option of using the On Screen Display (OSD) locking feature, OSD LOCK, to pre v ent unwanted changes to the current image settings. • OSD Lock: Press and hold the [1] and [ ▼ ] b uttons on the face of the monitor for 5 seconds.
Adjusting the Screen Image Beginning with the Main Menu sho wn belo w , use the b uttons on the front control panel to adjust the OnV ie w ® controls which display on the screen. The OnV ie w controls are explained in the four steps at the top of the next page and are further explained on pages 8-10.
T o adjust the screen image: 1 T o display the Main Menu (parts 1-3 shown belo w), press b utton [1]. 2 T o select a control you want to adjust, press the arro w buttons on the front control panel of your monitor ( ▼▲ ) and scroll through the choices.

Vie wMatch ® Color pro vides se veral color options: three preset color temperatures and User Color , which allows you to adjust red (R), green (G), and blue (B). The factory setting for this product is 9300K (9300 K elvin). 9300K — Adds blue to the screen image for cooler white (often used in of f ice settings with fluorescent lighting).
