8 Vermont Castings VCBVTN/TP & VCPVTN/TP Room Heater Lighting Instructions 1. Read the safety information. 2. Make sure manual shut-off valve is fully open. 3. Push in gas control knob slightly and turn clockwise to the OFF position. 4. W AIT 5 MINUTES TO CLEAR OUT ANY GAS.
9 Vermont Castings VCBVTN/TP & VCPVTN/TP Room Heater Pilot and Burner Inspection Each time you light your heater check that the pilot flame and burner flame patterns are as shown in Figures 9, 10 and 1 1. If flame patterns are incorrect, turn the heater off.
