4 GENERAL PRECAUTIONS • Do not use with pow er supply v oltage other than 120V A C • A void placing the lamp in areas that are dusty , humid/moist, lack v entilation, or are subject to constant vibration. • Not f or use with light dimmers, timers, motion detectors , v oltage transf or mers, or e xtension cords.
5 SET -UP INSTRUCTIONS Unpacking Please remov e all packaging material. Chec k the car ton for the items pictured below: Note: For your convenience, the bulb has been pre-installed in the socket.
6 SET -UP INSTRUCTIONS Attaching the P arabolic Grid Diffuser 1. Remove protectiv e packing from b ulb . 2. Remove g r id diffuser from protective plastic bag. 3. Inser t plastic pegs at bottom of grid diffuser into openings near bulb sock et and snap tab into place.
7 The lamp cord ma y be stored completely or par tially within the cavity at the bac k of the lamp . T o inser t the cord, simply close the lamp , place it on a le v el surf ace with its f ace down, tur n the cord in a vertical position and inser t the cord into the back of the lamp until all or part of the length of the cord is inser ted.
8 BULB REPLACEMENT Bulb remov al & replacement REMO V AL 1. Unplug lamp from power source. 2. T o access the bulb , remov e the grid diffuser by depressing the tab and lifting it out (see page 6) 3. Fir mly hold the bulb base (B) and pull bulb (C) from the soc ket in an outward motion.
