3 Intr oduction Con ne ct i ng P ort ab le Har d Drive Installing your P ortable Hard Drive is e xtremely simple – just use the included mini-USB cable to connect your P ortable Hard Drive to any fr ee USB port on your computer . On Windows computers, a new icon will appear in My Computer r epresenting your P ortable Har d Drive.
4 Storing and T r ansferring Data Once your P ortable Hard Drive is connected to a computer , it can be accessed and used like any other r emovable disk. Y ou can drag files to your portable hard drive’ s icon to copy them, navigate to your hard drive in Open or Save dialog boxes, or delete files stored on your por table hard drive.
