D VD button Press to select the D VD sound input source. 4. JAZZ button Press to select the JAZZ of equalization mode.
6 CONNECTIONS Notes: • Before you plug in the unit, make sure that the rated v oltage of your unit matc hes your local voltage. • Keep y our hands dry when you are connecting the power cord to the wall outlet to a void electric shock. • When you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time, disconnect the power cord.
7 CONNECTIONS (Continued) POSITIONING THE SPEAKERS & SUBWOOFER FRONT SPEAKERS CENTER SPEAKER BUILT-IN SUBWOOFER REAR SPEAKERS FRONT SPEAKERS Place the front speakers on both sides of the TV, equal distances apart. CENTER SPEAKER Place the center speaker on the top of or below the TV.
8 CONNECTIONS (Continued) - Connect the audio cable to the white jac k of A UX INPUT (L) and red jack of AUX INPUT (R) on the unit, and then connect to the corresponding A UDIO OUT jacks on your equipment. T his will allow your equipment’ s sound to play through the unit.
9 SET UP DIAGRAM IMPORT ANT : Switch off the power befor e connecting equipment. NO TE : T his system improves the sound of your DVD pla yer , VCR or TV game, please connect the video cable directly to your TV video input jack. * One set of Audio Cable (Red & White) is supplied.
10 SOUND ADJUSTMENT - Press the EQ PRESET buttons on the remote control to select an equalization mode (POP , JAZZ, FLA T , CLASSIC, ROCK). POP : More presence of vocals and mid r ange. ROCK : Emphasizes the mid range and bass sounds. JAZZ : Emphasizes the mid range sounds.
