When you want to w atch something else (a D VD movie, a videotape or an HDTV broadcast), simply press the W A TCH button and select the new acti vity .
P age 6 G ENESIS O WNERS M ANU AL Using the Genesis to Contr ol an “ Activity” Once you’ ve selected a new acti vity , the Genesis displays the title of the acti vity at the top of the screen. Below the title, the LCD displa ys the cus- tomized names of any special features y ou need for the acti vity .
Displa ying the Setup Scr een Y ou can adjust the settings of the Genesis whenev er you like by pressing and holding both the W A TCH and the ENTER button at the same time for three seconds.
Setting the LCD With these settings, y ou can set the Genesis to constantly displa y the LCD when not in use, or sho w a blank screen when not in use. Light Settings Y ou can adjust the backlighting of the remote in tw o additional wa ys: 1. Y ou can turn on/off the LCD and the hard button backlighting. 2. Y ou can select the amount of time the lighting stays on after the last button press from a range of v alues between 10 seconds and 90 seconds.
System Settings Y ou can set your Genesis to displa y the Lo w Battery warning at a power level between 0% and 20% (in 5% increments). V ersion Information Displa ys Should you be curious, the V ersion indicates what firmware and softw are versions were used to progr am your Genesis.
