31 MAINTENANCE ‐ continued Ash Removal ‐ Freestanding Unit: If left neglected ashes will eventually fill the ash pan. Remove the ashes per iodically to avoid unnecessary ash build up.

33 MAINTENANCE ‐ continued Chimney/Vent System Cleaning: 1. Soot Formation – When wood products are burned slowly they produce tar and other organic vapors which combine with expelled moisture to form soot.
34 TROUBLE SHOOTING See figure 26, page 31, for component locations . The heater will not light: Check that the heater is plugged in and that the wall outlet has power.
