About This Manual iii Battery Notices The RS700 is equipped with a Lithium-Ion battery pack. Ho wever , the RS700 may not start without an external pow er source due to battery discharge after extended stor- age periods. T o charge the battery to full capacity , connect the RS700 with the AC Adapter and charge the RS700 for at least 20 hours.

Using the GPIO Interface Use the GPIO Cable to connec t the RS700 to several exter nal controls such as an LED indicator lamp, LCD or motion sensor .

Connecting to a WLAN Network It is possible to send and rece ive signals to a Wi-Fi network, and synchronize files with the RS700’s embedded WLAN interface.
