Upgrading Y our Sy stem Board and Riser Board 3 This document describes how to upgrade your system to support PCI-e expansion car ds. Y our upgrade kit includes a new system board and riser boar d. CAUTION: Many repairs may only be don e by a certified service tec hnician.

Upgrading Y our Sy stem Board and Riser Board 5 14 T o remove the system board: a Lift up the blue retention pin and slide the system boar d towards the front of the system to disengage the board from the r etention tabs on the chassis. See F igure 1-2.
