6 Attac h ing the H op per Asse mb ly • Remove th e 8-3/8 ” long hex bolt and t he hex nut from the bottom of the inlet guid e opening. See Figure 2. • Place the hopper as sembly on the ground and hold it in the position. • Holding the hoppe r, push hopp er pivot door down inside the hopper.

8 Stoppin g Engine • Move throttle cont rol lever to stop or off position. • Disconne ct spark plug wire from spark plug and ground again st the engine .
9 To E m p t y B a g • Depress the plung er on the drawst ring and s lide the plunger out to loosen bag from di scharge ch ute opening. • Emp ty bag and reattach to the discharge chute opening. Depres s the plunger on the drawstring and pull on the drawstring until the bag is tight around the chute opening.
10 WARNING: Always stop engine, disco n- nect spar k p lug, and g round again st engine before cl eaning, lubri cating or doin g any kind of main te nan ce on you r mach ine. Lubrication Release Rod: Lubricate the release rod and spri ng with light oil once a seas on.
11 make s ure to remove an equ al amount from each blade and t orque to 250 - 300 in. lbs. NOTE: M ake certain blades are rea ssembled wi th th e sharp edge facing upw ard. Shr edder B lade • Disconne ct the spark plug wire and ground again st the engi ne.
