Adjustments Chute Assembly The pi tch of the chute assemb ly controls the angl e at which the snow is thrown. Loosen t he wing k nob foun d on the lef t side of the chute assembl y and pivot the up per chute upwar d or downward to the desire d pitch.

Changing Engine Oil NOTE: Che ck the oil level b efore ea ch use and af ter ever y f ive hours o f oper ation to be sure the cor rec t oil level is mainta ined.
Af ter the spark p lug is seated , tighten with a spar k plug 5. wrench to comp ress the washe r . NOTE: Wh en insta lling a new spar k plug, tighten ⁄ -tur n af ter the spar k plug seat s to compress the wash er .
Replacing Belt Remove the b elt cover by removing the f i ve hex screws Remove the b elt by grasping i t from the b ot tom of the 2 .
Replacing Auger P addles The snow throwe r auger ’ s r ubber p addles are subj ec t to wear and shoul d be repla ced if any signs of excessive wear are pres ent.
