3 Adv anced, 3-Sta ge Battery Charger Y our APS recharges y our batter y f aster than conv entional chargers because its three-stage charger pro- file (Bulk, Absor ption and Float) are optimized, regardless of the type of batter y you use (W et or Gel).

7 • Limit Battery Charger (APS 1012 and APS 2012 only) (DIP Switch #4, Group B) T o prev ent ov erheating smaller batteries, the charger on these UPS systems is initially set to deliv er only a fraction of its maximum pow er rating to connected batteries.
