2 Intr oduction T ripp Lite External Battery Packs hav e output voltages of either 36 v olts (BP36V142U), 48 v olts (BP48V212U, BP48V242U) or 72 volts (BP72V122U) and are designed for use with v arious Tr ipp Lite UPS systems equipped with external battery pack connectors.
Color Selection (BP48V242U Only) The BP48242U can be configured to match black or gre y equipment. T o match black equipment, switch the grey front panel on the unit for the black front panel included. Single Unit Installation Connect the shelves to the shelf extensions (A) using the included hardware (B).
4 Installation 2-P ost (T elecom) Installation Mount the shelved sections (A) of your kit on the back side of your rack. Mount them in the lowest a vailable space of your rack with the hardware provided (B). Note that the support ledges should face inward.
5 Rackmount Battery Packs require no maintenance b ut should be kept dry at all times. A void installation in locations with high heat and/or humidity . The Battery Packs should be kept fully char ged by being connected to an activ e UPS system, not left in a depleted condition.

7 Intr oducción Los bancos de baterías externas de Tripp Lite tienen v oltajes de salida de 36 voltios (BP36V142U), 48 voltios (BP48V212U, BP48V242U) o 72 v oltios (BP72V122U) y están diseñados para usarse con varios sistemas UPS de T ripp Lite equipados con conectores para bancos externos de baterías.
8 Selección de color (sólo BP48V242U) El BP48242U puede adaptarse para que haga juego con equipos negros o grises. P ara hacer juego con un equipo negro, cambie el panel frontal gris de la unidad con el panel frontal negro incluido.
9 Instalación Instalación de 2 postes (T elecomunicaciones) Monte las secciones colocadas en los anaqueles (A) de su juego en el lado posterior del rack. Instálelos en el espacio más bajo disponible del rack con los accesorios suministrados (B). Note que los bordes de apoyo deben mirar hacia adentro.
10 Los bancos de baterías para montaje en rack no requieren mantenimiento pero deben mantenerse secos en todo momento. Evite la instalación en lugares con mucho calor y/o humedad. Los bancos de baterías deben mantenerse completamente cargados mediante su cone xión a un sistema UPS activ o; no deben dejarse agotados.
