At the e nd of the cook tim e the m inute minder will autom atic all y switch of f the m ain oven if in use. The m inute m inder gives an au dible r em inder at the end of any period of c ook ing up to 23 hours and 59 minutes .

14 BEFORE USING THE HOTPL A TES FOR THE FIRST TIME Turn the c ontrol k nob to a m edium /high settin g and a llow t he hotp late to heat, uncov ered by a sauc epan f or 3- 5 minutes . This hardens the pr otective coat ing on t he hotp lates an d m akes it m or e resistant to n orm al use.
15 DEEP FAT FR YING SPECI AL FRYING NOTE: For safet y purposes when deep fa t fr ying, fill the pan one third f ull of oil, DO NOT c over th e pan with a lid and DO NOT leave the p an unatt ended.

20 USES OF THE FA N OVEN The oven is heat ed b y the elem ent aro und the fan s ituated be hind t he bac k panel. T he fan draws air fr om the oven, t he elem ent heats the a ir whic h is circ ulate d into the oven via th e ven ts in the back panel.
