3 Installation ● This appliance is heavy . Care should be tak en when moving it. ● It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any w ay . ● Care must be tak en to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable.

5 Bef ore using your dishw asher for the first time: 1. Ensure that the electrical and water connections comply with the installation instructions 2. Remov e all packaging from inside the appliance 3. Set the water softener 4. P our 1 litre of w ater inside the salt container and then fill with salt 5.
6 Filling with salt Only use salt specificall y designed for use in dishwashers. All other types of salt not specifically designed for use in a dishwasher , especially table salt, will damage the water softener . Only fill with salt just bef ore starting one of the complete washing programmes (not the Rinse and Hold programme).
7 Rinse aid Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough r insing, and spot and streak free dr ying. The dispenser , which is positioned inside the door , holds about 110 ml of rinse aid, which is sufficient f or 16 - 40 dishwashing progr ammes, depending upon the dosage setting.
8 Loading y our appliance Bef ore placing dishes in the machine, remov e any scraps of f ood, to av oid clogging the filters and consequently reducing the perf or mance. Do not load very small items which can fall through the baskets. The lower basket The lower bask et is designed to tak e saucepans, lids, plates, salad bo wls, cutlery etc.
9 The upper basket The upper basket is designed f or plates (dessert plates, saucers , dinner plates of up to 24 cm in diameter), salad bowls , cups and glasses. Arrange items on and underneath the fold-do wn cup rac ks so that water can reach all surf aces.
10 Use of detergent Only use deter gents specifically designed for use in dishwasher s. W e recommend the use of Finish detergents which are av ailab le in the follo wing options: Finish Double Action T ablets. Each tab let has the e xact amount of detergent required, simply place in the dispenser .
11 T o save ener gy Place dishes in the machine immediately after e very meal and wait until the dishw asher is full bef ore washing. If necessar y run the Rinse and Hold programme (see "W ashing Programmes" chart) so that any f ood scraps do not become caked on the dishes while y ou are waiting to run the complete wash prog ramme.

13 1. Chec k the filters Ensure they are clean and properly positioned (see "Maintenance and cleaning"). 2. Chec k that there is rinse aid and salt 3. Load the dishes Remov e any scr aps of food. Pull the low er basket out and arrange the saucepans, plates and cutlery in it.
14 Internal c leaning Ensure that the seals around the door , the detergent and rinse aid dispensers are cleaned regularly with a damp cloth. W e recommend the use of Finish Dishwasher Cleaner e very 3 months or r un a 65°C wash without dishes using detergent.
15 External c leaning Clean the e xter nal surf aces of the machine and control panel with a damp soft cloth. If necessar y use only neutral detergents . Ne ver use abr asive products , scouring pads or solvent (acetone , tr ichloroeth ylene etc....).
16 Cer tain problems are due to lac k of simple maintenance or ov ersights, which can be solv ed easily without calling out an engineer . Bef ore contacting your local Service Force Centre , please carr y out the checks listed belo w .
17 If after all these checks , the problem persists , contact your local Service Force Centre , quoting the model and serial number . This inf or mation can be f ound on the rating plate located on the right hand side of the dishwasher door (see picture).

22 Any electrical w ork required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. 23 W ater outlet hose connection The end of the drain hose can be connected in the f ollowing wa ys: 1. T o the sink outlet siphon, securing it if necessar y with a clip . 2. Hooked o ver the edge of the sink using the special cur v ed plastic guide provided.
24 Electrical connection This appliance must be earthed. The manufacturer dec lines any responsibility should this safety measure not be observed. If the plug that is fitted to your appliance is not suitab le f or the sock et, it must be cut off and the appropriate plug fitted.
25 Adjusting the w orktop Y ou can mov e the worktop forw ard or backw ard by 25 mm in order to align the machine with other kitchen units. Simply unscrew the tw o rear retaining screws , mov e the top to the required position and then retighten the screws .
