2.2 Operation A-B Segment Repeat Mo de Select the A-B repla y When ’A-’ sta rt blinking, press ’ ’ once while playing a track to ma rk the b eginning of section where y ou want t o start (A). When ’B-’ sta rt blinking, press ’ ’ again to where you w ant the section to end (B).
2 Getting started 2.3 Menu Press MODE fo r 2 seconds to access the Main Menu. Note: Y ou can access the Main Menu by p ress in the MODE for 2 seconds from anywhere in the submenu or du ring music pla ying. 2.3.1 Record Mode It recor ds voice through internal microphone.
2.3 Menu Pla ying Reco rd File Access Voice Mode. Select the voice pla ying record mode. Press ’ ’ or ’ ’ to select the record file. Press ’ ’ to pla y . 2.3.2 Voice Mode When pla ying recorded file, y ou can press MODE fo r 1 second to access Voice Mode.
2 Getting started 2.3.3 Phone Bo ok It allows y ou to store y our personal phone data into the play er. Please find the F airy Address program from our p rovided CD ROM driver disk, and click ’Phone- Book_Setup.exe’ under ’PhoneBook’ folder to install.
2.3 Menu Reco rd Time T o set the time and date for reco rd file: Press ’+/-’ to set y ear/mon th/da y Press ’ ’ or ’ ’ to change data Press MODE to confirm. Backlight Time T o set the duration of the backlight sta ying on the LCD screen: Press ’ ’ or ’ ’ to adjust Press MODE confirm.
2 Getting started Contrast Setting T o adjust the LCD contrast level (1-20). Online Mode T o select the play er to show either Multi Drive, No rmal Drive or Encry pted Drive in the computer. Note: The play er can be formatted with pa rtitions. Please read the ’Partition and Encrypt’ section below.
2.3 Menu Click ’Open’ button to select the new firmw are p rogram. (The firmwa re can b e found in the installed CD or do wnloaded from our web site.) Click ’Begin upgrading’ Button to sta rt for upgrading the system. When finishing the upgrade, the follo wing diagram will b e display ed on the LCD screen: Quit Quit the interface.
2 Getting started During Music mode or V oice mo de, you can access the folder list b y pressing MODE fo r 1 second. And you can en ter folder submenu from there.
2.3 Menu Access the ’Partition and Encrypt’ menu. After input all the items, click ’ start’ . The setting has completed. Click ’OK’ . There a re tw o disks. Open the second one, which consists of 3 do cuments. (2 concealed and 1 carried on w ith its size 300K).
2 Getting started 6. Carry on t he document ’RdiskDecry.exe’ , and input the username and passwo rd. Note: The operation of dividing one disk into tw o parts will delete data. Please sto re them b efore the operation. Don’t miss y our username and passw ord.
