2 Introduction ︱ ︱ ︱ ︱ Congratulations on purc hasing T r anscend’ s PF7 05 Digital Photo Frame. Now you can easily display your entire photo collectio n at home or at the of f ice. The Photo Frame can conveni ently display digital photos stored on any USB flash drive or memory card.

5 Se tting Up the Photo Frame 1. Attach the Tabletop Stand to the back o f the Photo Frame by screw ing it clockwise into the S tand Attachment Hole show n above. 2. Once the stand is attached, t he Photo Frame may be positioned vertically or horizontally (Landscape or Portrait orientation) 3.
6 Usi ng a memory card or USB flash drive 1. Insert a memory card o r USB flash drive into its a ppropriate slot on the Ph oto Frame. 2. Once a memory card or USB flash drive is plugged in, the Pho to Frame wil l automatically begin slideshow play back of all photos avail able on your memory card o r flash drive.

8 Connecting to a Computer ︱ ︱ ︱ ︱ To t ransfer pictures betw een a memory card conn ected to the Pho to Fra me and your c ompute r, co nnect the Photo Frame to a USB p ort on your computer using the provi ded USB cable. 1. Turn on the Photo Fra me .
9 *Note: E: and F: are example drive letters - the le tters in your “My Compute r” window may diff er Proper removal of your Photo Frame (from Windows): 1. Click once on the Re movable Ha rdware icon in the system tray . 2. The Safely Remov e Hardware pop-up w indow will appear.

When Photo Frame is co nnected to a compute r, it can only be used for transferring files. You w ill not be able to use any of the Photo Frame’s features at this time.
11 Photo Modes ︱ ︱ ︱ ︱ The Photo Frame has th ree basic modes – T humbnail , Photo Vie w and Slidesho w . The Thumbnail mode lets you browse for specific photos, the Photo View mode is for display ing a single picture at a time, and the Slideshow mode w ill automatically di splay all available photos.

13 Options for Selecting Multiple Photos: • Select All: Selec t all items in current media source. • Deselect A ll: Deselect all items in current media source. • Select All On Page: Select all items on curren t page. • Deselect A ll On Page: Deselect all items on current page.

17 Themes: This optio n lets you select various themes to comple ment your pictures whi le viewing in Slideshow or Photo Vi ew. Use t he / or / buttons to hi ghlight None, Xmas, Hallow een, Clock, Valentine’s Day , New Year, Taiw an, Japan or Europe, then p ress to confirm.
18 Calendar ︱ ︱ ︱ ︱ With Calendar mode, your Photo Frame becomes an attractive desktop calendar and clock that let s you set important date reminder s and display your favorite photos, t oo. T he Calendar mode display s a monthly calendar and digital clock at the bottom of the screen while displaying a photo or slideshow of your choice .

20 Settings ︱ ︱ ︱ ︱ The Settings menu include s advanced features that let you adj ust the photo fr ame’ s display , set the time & date, cha nge languages, and even configure the p hoto frame to automatica lly turn on and o ff at cert ain times of the day .
21 • Brightness: press / to fine-tune the brightness o f the screen. • Contrast: Press / to make adjustmen ts to the scr een’ s contrast. • Fullscreen: Press or to enable or disable . If di sabled, Photo Frame will preserve the original dimensions of th e image on t he s creen.
22 NOTE: The Photo Frame alw ays preserves the origin al aspect ratio o f all images based on ea ch picture file’ s orientation information (EXIF), and NEV ER stretches the m to fill the entire s creen.
23 Date / Time This option lets y ou adjust the current date & time and set y our Photo Fra me to auto matically turn on and off every day at a specific time.

27 Why does the time and date reset a fter unplugging the A C adapter? If you unplug the Photo Frame for a long time, its inter nal backup battery will eventually drain. T ypical ly, the Photo Frame can keep your time and da te for about 2~3 days a fter unpluggin g the AC power adapter.
