Reminders • Always follow the procedures in the “ Disconnecting from a Computer ” section to remove the StoreJet from your computer. • Never switch the StoreJet 35T between “Turbo USB Mode” and “Normal USB Mode” while transferring data.

Connecting to a Computer ︱ Connecting to Windows ® , Mac ® or Linux ® Computers 1. Att ach the included 2-pin or 3-pin (country/region dependant) power connector to the USB Power Adapter by sliding it until it cli cks into place.

Once connected, you can use the S toreJet 35T as an external hard drive to transfer da ta to and from your computer .

Disconnecting from a Computer ︱ NEVER disconnect the StoreJet from a Computer when it s LED is flashing. Windows ® 1. Select the Hardware icon on the system tray .
Linux ® Execute umount /mnt/S torejet to un-mount the device. Then unplug your S toreJet 35T from the USB port. 11.
Formatting the Hard Drive ︱ The S toreJet 35T comes pre-formatted to the F A T32 file system, which is comp atible with virtually any computer system, includi ng all versions of Windows ® , Mac ® , and Linux ® .
7. Press “S tart.” 8. A confirmation window will appear . Press OK to begin formatting the drive. 13.
9. The format process may take a fe w minutes. When complete, an “ O.K. ” message will appear in the bottom right hand corner of the window . 10. Click the “ Close ” button to finish and exit. Windows ® 7/Vista Note: Y ou must have Administrator Rights to format in Windows Vista or Windows 7.
7. In the S toreJet Format Utility window , click the “Refresh” button. 8. The program will automatically detect the S toreJet 35T drive. 9. Press “St art” .

4. In the Disk Utility window , choose your S toreJet 35T from the list on the left. 5. Select the “Erase” t ab. 6. Choose the V olume Format you want (Mac OS Extended (journal) is recommended). 7. Input a name for your new drive (otherwi se, your drive will be named “Untitled”) 8.
9. Click “Erase” again to confirm. 10. Click the “ Close ” button to finish and exit. Linux ® 1. Plug the S toreJet 35T into an available USB port on your Linux computer . 2. Unplug all other USB storage devices from your computer . This is to prevent accidental format of a dif ferent USB drive.
