6 Controls Use the included re mote control to opera te the HD M edia Play er. To navigate the HD M edia Play er’s on-screen menus, pres s the UP, DO WN, LEFT, or RIGH T keys to highligh t a function and cli ck OK to play, access or confirm.
7 ZOOM: Zoom in or out when playing mo vies or pictures. Press repeatedly to ch ange zoom levels. Video Zoom levels: 2x, 3x, 4x, 8x Photo Zoom levels: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x RETURN: Go back to the p revious menu A UDIO L ANGUAGE: Press to activate available audio tracks when playing a video file.
8 Choose Movies and clic k OK key to b rowse the USB storage dev ice using the M ovies f ilter. Only compatible movie files w ill be displayed. Choose Photos to browse the USB s torage device usin g the Photos filter. Only compatible ima ge files wi ll be displayed .
9 Choose Music to brow se the USB sto rage device using the M usic Filter. Only compatible audio files w ill be display ed. Choose Browse to sea rch the USB s torage device for all av ailable files, with no filters enabled .
10 Setup Menu ︱ The Setup menu all ows y ou to configure audio, vi deo, system, slideshow , language and play back settin gs. To open the Setup menu , press or from the H ome menu, use the buttons to se lect the “Setup ” ico n and click OK.
11 Digital Output This setting allows you to chan ge the output format of the HD Media Player’s HDMI and SPDIF (Optical) digital aud io c onnections. HDMI LPCM 2CH: All aud io formats will be decoded internally and output through the HDMI port as 2-channel audio.

Pan & Scan 4:3: Select if conne cting the HD Media Player to an older non-widescreen TV. In this mode, 4:3 aspect ratio non-widescreen video content w ill fill the entire scre en.
13 Contrast Adjusts the contrast of the displayed image. Use th is control if the white level is too high (white highlights are not visible) or too low (image appears flat or too dim). Digital Noise Redu ction Use this setting to turn Digital Noise Redu ction on and off.
14 Display Resolution To experience the full benefit and clarity of Full HD 1080p video content, you need to select the correct output setting for your TV. Most newer TV s are capable of displaying 1080p 60Hz or 50Hz, which will provide the best image quality w hen watching Full HD m ov ies or displaying high-resolution picture slidesho ws.
15 S y stem Settings Menu Language Change the language o f the HD M edia Pl ayer ’s OSD (On Screen Di splay). Use the UP and D O WN keys t o select a language.
16 Text Encoding Select this option to cho ose the text encoding lan guage that best ma tches the text of your file names and subtitles. T ip: you can also chan ge the text enco ding whil e watching a mov ie by pressing the button.

20 Background Mu sic Enable or disable background mu sic while vi ewing pho tos. Note: Music files must be stored in the same folder as the slideshow images. Screen Saver This option enables and disabled the screen saver . When set to On, the screen saver w ill automatically start after a few minutes of ina ctiv ity .

22 Browser Scree n ︱ The Browser allows you explore t he contents of your USB storage device(s) to locate movies, photos, and music files to play . The Browser will open when you choose “Movies”, “Photos”, “Music”, or “Browse” from the Home menu, or w hen you pre ss the , , shortcut buttons on the remote.
