7 Introduction On handling discs Do not touch the playbac k side of the disc. Do not attach paper or tape to discs. On cleaning discs Fingerpr ints and dust on the disc cause picture and sound deterioration. Wipe the disc from the center outwards with a soft cloth.

Operating with the remote control 1 Insert batteries (AAA size). 2 Close the cover . 3 Make sure to match the + and on the batteries to the marks inside the battery compartment. 26 Advanced playback Accessing a Specific Location Directly Y ou can access a specific location by entering its corresponding time (hours, minutes, seconds). 1 Press SEARCH. Press / button to highlight the time counter . 2 Press the number buttons to enter the time.

(Random playback) Playing in Random Order Playing titles, chapters or tracks in random order 1 Press RANDOM repeatedly to select the random playback mode. The D VD video pla yer star ts random playback within about 5 seconds after you press RANDOM button.

34 Advanced playback Zooming a Picture Zooming a picture 1 Press ZOOM during normal, slow or still playback. The D VD video play er enters the zoom playback mode and displays the icon. Press ZOOM button to select the magnificant level. V ariation of the levels includes image reduction.
