19 IDENTIFYING IN CLUDED COM PONENTS Surveillix recorder s come with a mo use, keyboar d and selec ted softwar e and cabl es. 21 KEYBOAR D SETUP To attach the k eyboard t o the record er , plug the end of the Keybo ard into a US B po rt locate d on the b ack of the mac hine. MOUSE SE TUP To attach the mouse to t he recorder , plug t he end of th e mouse into a USB port located on t he back of the mac hine.

24 TURNING ON THE RECORDER On ce the cables and adapter s have bee n properly connected it is tim e to turn on the power . To turn on the power follow thes e st eps : 1. Turn on the mo nitor and a ny external p eripheral s (ex. Pr inters, Exter nal Stor age Devices , etc.
