5 English INSTALLING YOUR TV Installation and important informa tion Locate the television awa y from direct sunlight and strong lights. Soft, indirect lighting is recommended for comfortable viewing. Use curt ains or blinds to prevent direct sunlight falling on the screen.

15 English SETTING UP YOUR TV Startup Application Befor e switch ing on the TV m ake sure that your aeria l is co nnected and any deco der / m edia recor der , if app lic able is co nne ct ed and in Standby . a Press the 1 button, Toshib a logo w ill appear.
16 English SETTING UP YOUR TV There are 3 methods for Wireless Setup: • Easy Set up (WPS) - If the AP supports WP S, this meth od can be used. WPS is an industry standard d esigned to ma ke connectio n of wireless LA N equ ipment and securit y setup easy.
17 English SETTING UP YOUR TV When Encryption is WEP , Key ID setti ng is available. Press B / b to select Key ID and press c and B / b to select 1 (default), 2 , 3 or 4 . Press B / b to highlight Done and press OK . When the message “Wi reless configuration is complete.
18 English SETTING UP YOUR TV s Press b to hi ghlight Start Sc an , a nd press OK . The television will start to sea rch for available DTV and/ or ATV channels. The progre ss bar will indicat e the sc an status. You must all ow the t elevis ion t o complet e the searc h.
19 English SETTING UP YOUR TV Once you ha ve selected a sat ellite, you can change further setting s under Dish and LNB . Press OK and C / c t o select Dish or LNB and press OK . Under Dish you choose the dish type that will be used (fi xed or m oveab le dish).
20 English SETTING UP YOUR TV x If the reception testing co mpletes succes sfully, the Auto Tuning startup screen will display. You can select Search O ption from Free to A ir or All . When choosing the search option All , all channels (including encrypted ones) of the satellite will be searched for.
21 English SETTING UP YOUR TV From the Syst em Setup menu, yo u can add the satellites that you wish t o tune and configu re de tailed set tings for each one indi vidua ll y. 59 English CONTROLS AND FEATURES Using Hybrid TV Standard (if available) Hybrid TV Standard enables the TV to rece ive HbbTV services. TV services which suppo rt this feature often show “press RED” on the screen. NOTE: You need to configure a home network before using this feature (see page 12).

If Auto Start is disabled (or if you want to connect to a media s erver on the network), you must manually start the Media Player from the menu.
