This new generation high performance/quality printer is equipped with the latest hardware including the newly developed high density (12 dot/mm, 305 dot/inch) edge print head.

Push the ribbon core against the spring guide wheel, align the protrusion of the guide wheel with the notch of the ribbon core, then set the ribbon. 6. To remove the slack of the ribbon, turn the ribbon core in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Turning the knob right will move the sensor towards the center of the media while turning left will move it away from the center of the media.

11-1 11. GENERAL MAINTENANCE EM1-33039E 1 1. GENERAL MAINTENANCE 11.1 CLEANING To help retain the high quality and performance of your printer it should be regularly cleaned. The greater the usage of the printer, the more frequent the cleaning. (i.e. low usage=weekly : high usage=daily).

NOTES: 1. If the [PAUSE] key is released within 3 seconds whilst in pause state, paper will not feed. 2. Failure to feed more than 1.5 to 2 labels may result in an incorrect threshold setting. 3. While the print head is raised, the [PAUSE] key does not work.
11- 7 11. GENERAL MAINTENANCE EM1-33039E 11.5 THRESHOLD SETTING ■ Threshold setting procedure (For firmware version 1.3 or earlier) Turn the power on. Load the Pre-printed label. (Any position) Press the PAUSE key once. Hold down the PAUSE key for more than 3 seconds and it will begin to feed.

If the problem still exists turn the power off and contact your Authorized Ser- vice representative. Problem When an error is detected in a command 20 bytes of the command are displayed.
