BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME 1. Remove all packaging materials including those which may be inside the T oasting Slots or T oasting Lever slot. 2. W ipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly . Do not use abrasive cleaners. 3. Do not put the T oaster , cord or plug in water .
7 NO TE: T o pre vent a fire hazar d, nev er place bread ov er the opening of the T oaster , but alw ays place it into the Slots. NO TE: DO NOT change the Adjustable Bro wning Control selection during the toasting c ycle. 5. When the toast reaches the selected browning level, it will pop up automatically .
8 AU T OMA TIC CENTERING GUIDES Lowering the T oasting Lever closes the Centering Guides, and holds the bread or toaster food centrally in the T oasting Slots. NO TE: T he T oasting Lever will not loc k down unless the T oaster is plugged into an electrical outlet.
9 USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing that requires disassembly must be performed by a qualified appliance repair technician. CLEANING CA UTION: Do not immerse T oaster , cord, or plug in w ater or any other liquid.
