5 HINTS FOR CONVECTION BAKE • F or best results, place bake rack in position 2 and lea v e at least 1/2 inch space on all sides of bake pan for air circulation. • Dark or dull pans absorb heat faster ; f oods will bake more rapidly and crusts will brown more easily than in shiny bake pans .

9 BROIL CHART Alwa ys use bake/broil pan with wire rack. Place meat on top of rack. F or meat 1 inch thick or less, place broil pan — wire rack assembly in o v en position #3. F or thic k er meat, place broil pan — wire rack assembly in o v en position #2.
10 CLEAN-UP OF BAKE/BROIL BAKE PAN, BROIL INSERT AND RACK 1. Alwa ys unplug and allow to cool completely before cleaning or moving. 2. Remov e bake pan and bake rack. 3. Clean with a mild or non-abrasive cleaner and a plastic scouring pad. 4. Rinse and dry thoroughly .
