P AGE 5 GREASE FIL TERS: Metal filters are used to trap the gr ease in vapors that develop during cooking. The filter mats are made fr om non-combustible metal. Caution: As the filter becomes more and mor e saturated with grease, not only does the risk of it catching fir e increase, but the efficiency of the hood can also be adversely affected.
P AGE 6 CARE AND CLEANING IMPORT ANT : Do not clean the hood with abrasive sponges or with cleaning agents that contain sand, baking soda, acid or chlorine! ❑ Clean the hood with a hot soap solution or a mild window cleaner . ❑ Do not scrape off dried-on dirt.
