PAGE 4 The blower should be turned on for about 5 min- utes before cooking in order to establish air cur- rents upward through the hood. Thus when heat, smoke, moisture, grease and cooking odors are produced, they will be carried outside instead of drif ting into other rooms.
PAGE 5 Heat Sensor Note: The heat sensor features listed below are not available when the hood is installed with the remote control accessory . Y our hood is equipped with a heat sensor that will turn the blower to Low speed if excessive heat occurs above the cooking surfaces.
PAGE 6 T o Clean Hood Surface • For general care, wipe the outside of the stain- less steel with sudsy water or household cleaners such as Fantastic ® or Formula 409 ® , rinse well and dry with a clean soft cloth to avoid water marks. • Wipe and dry stainless steel in the same direction as the grain.
PAGE 7 Heat Lamp Replacement • Turn heat lamp counterclockwise to remove. • Replace lamp with either a P AR-38 175W heat lamp or a P AR-40 250W heat lamp. The P AR-38 175W heat lamp provides a tighter seal within the enclosure and produces the same amount of effective heat with lower energy con- sumption.

PAGE 4 La soufflerie doit être en circuit pendant au moins 5 minutes avant la cuisson afin d’établir la ventilation sous la hotte. Ainsi, la chaleur , la fumée, la vapeur , la graisse et les odeurs de cuisson s’évacuent au lieu de rester dans les pièces.
PAGE 5 Capteur de chaleur Remarque : le capteur de chaleur indiqué ci- dessous n’est pas disponible lorsque la hotte est installée avec la télécommande. La hotte est équipée d’un capteur de chaleur qui actionne la soufflerie à basse vitesse lorsqu’une température excessive survient au-dessus de la surface de cuisson.
