3 1. What is DLM2? DLM2 (Download Manager 2) is one of Thecus’ most praised features. W ith D LM2, users can download files directly from the Internet and store them on Thecus NAS devices without the need turn on their PC, saving both time and mone y .
4 1. Installing DLM2 modul e After downloading the DLM2 module from Thecus Download Centre , plea se log in to the W eb GUI and click on Module management followed b y Module Installation.
5 2. Getting S tarted After installing and enabling the DLM2 Module on Thecus NA S, ple ase click on DLM2 under Module Management > System Modul e in the menu tree.
6 3. BT ( BitT orrent) Step 1- Configuration Click on “ Setting” on the DLM2 Main Page to enter the BT Configuration Page. On this page, you will see the following settings: Download Folder: Select the folder to store the downloaded files. T orrent Ran ge: 9000~9200 is the default T orrent Range.
7 Step 2 - Setup New Session On the DLM2 Main Page, click on “Enter” next to the word “ BT” and the Setup New Session Page will appear as below . On the page you will see the below settings: Attach: The Attach Multip le Session function has been disabled; only one session can be created.
8 Step 3- Add New BT Download T asks. The BT Download Contr ol Panel should appear as below: T o add new BT downloa d tasks, simpl y click on the “Browser” button on the top right hand corner to insert the torrent file and click on the “ Upload ” button to initiate the task.
9 Buttons: Browser: Click to add torrent file Upload: Click to start download task Hide all details: Hide detailed information about the download task Clean all: Clean all completed download tasks Sto.
10 4. eMule Step 1 - Configuration On the DLM2 Page , click on “setting” next t o the word “ eMule” to enter the eMule Configuration Page : On this page, users can select which folder to store the downloaded files. Next, click on “Save” to confirm and click on “Mai n Menu” to return to the DLM2 Main Page.
11 Sear ch Module On the page, users can search files to download according to various criteria. Server List Users can connect or disconnect from existing servers or add new servers b y typing in IP o r Address, Port and Name of the server .
12 Step 3 – Connect to a Serve r It is important to make sure that you a re conn ected to a server before adding any new eMule download tasks. Click on the Server List icon and the page wi ll appear as below: On this page, you can add new servers b y typing in the I P or Add ress, Port and Name.
13 2. Y ou ma y search for the files you want to download using the Searc h Module function. Click on the Searc h Mo dule icon and the page should appear as below: On the eMule search page, you can t ype in the file name and set the criteria to search for the file you want to download.
14 5. HTTP/FTP Adding and initiating New Down load T asks On the DLM2 Main Page , please click on “HTTP/FT P” to enter the HTTP/FTP Contr ol Panel .
