6 · Motiv 6 Unpacking · Include d component s Please make sure that you have all the components of the system! Attention: Hold on to the cardboard boxes for at least eight weeks (duration of the right-of-return period).

8 · Motiv 6 General notes on spe ak er placement Thanks to its unobtrusive aesthetic s and sle ek design, the T eufel Motiv 6 sp eaker sy stem will easily blend into your living room.
9 · Motiv 6 Spe ak er po sitions in the 5.1 conf igu rat ion We recommend you place the subwoofer somewhere in the grey front area. We recommend you place the rear speakers somewhere in the grey rear area. The best default positions are indicated by A, B and C.
10 · Motiv 6 If you add an additional MO 6 C sp eaker to your 5.1 system (s ee p age 7) , you can mak e full use of a 6.1 AV receiver and expand your surround s etup into a 6.1 home the atre s ystem. 12 · Motiv 6 Conne ctions Y ou can conne ct the Motiv 6 system to any mo d- ern D olby D igit al/D TS 5.1/ 6.1/7.1 AV receiver for a 5.1 setup with an ac tive subwoofer . If your AV receive r is 6.1/7.1, simply ignore the Rear Centre Out(s) . T o make full us e of a 6.
13 · Motiv 6 Se t t ings Setting up the A V receiver T o t ake full advant age of your Motiv 6 Home Theatre System with Active Subwo ofer , set the “Spe aker S etup” sec tion of your AV receiver t o “sma ll” or “normal” (not “ lar ge”) for the fi ve sur- round spe ak ers.
14 · Motiv 6 Contro ls (subwoofer) ➊ Power Function (Auto) “On” means that the subw oofer is operational and permanently active. “ Auto” me ans that the subwoofer is operational but is only activated once it receives an audio signal. The T eufel lo go on the f ront p anel light s up red.
15 · Motiv 6 If the p ower LED do es not light up when you swit ch on the power swit ch, replace the fuse . Make sure that the replace ment fuse has the same rating as the defect iv e fuse.
