Holder Detachable stand Weather Station INTRODUCTION: Congratulations o n purchasing this i nnovative 433M Hz Weather Sta tion which di splays the weather forec ast, time, indo or temperatur e, and up to thr ee outdoor temperature re adings. To enjoy the ful l benefits of thi s innovativ e product, please rea d this operati ng manual.
SETTING UP: Please follow these steps to ensure t hat your new Weather Statio n works correctly with the temperature tra nsmitter(s ): 1. First, insert 2 x AA, IEC LR6, 1.5V batteries into t he Weather Stati on. Once the batteries are i n place, all seg ments of the LCD will light up bri efly.
6. The DCF-77 time c ode receptio n is automatic ally started just after the Weather Station is activ ated. This takes typi cally between 3 - 5 minutes in good conditions . This time perio d is an excel lent opportunity to locate the tr ansmitter(s) in suitable location(s) outdoor s.
Max/Min Display TIME SETTING: After the batteri es are inserted, set th e time display as follow: 1. Press and hold the SET key at the front of the Weather Station a bout four seconds to enter the s et mode 2. The hour digit star ts flashing . Use the “+” key to enter the ho ur.
Minimum and maximum indoor temperature recordings: By pressing the “MIN/MAX” key the current indoor te mperature will alternate betw een the maximum, mi nimum, and curr ent temperat ure recording s (also chan ges for outdoor temperature).
THE WEATHER FORECASTING ICONS: There are 3 weath er icons on t he first section of the LCD, w hich can be displ ayed in any o f the following combinat ions: Sunny Cloudy with sunny intervals Rainy For every sudden or sig nificant change in the air pressure, th e weather icons will upda te accordingly to r epresent the change i n weather.
Taking this into acco unt, one can see h ow the weather has changed and i s expected to change. For exampl e, if the indi cator is pointin g downwards tog ether with cl oud and sun icons, then the l ast noticeable cha nge in the weath er was when it was sunny (the sun icon only).
POSITIONING Weather Station: The Weather Stati on comes compl ete with a detac hable stand th at gives the opti on of table standing or w all mounting. To w all mount: 1. Fix a screw into the d esired w all, leaving the hea d extended ou t by about 5mm.
CARE A ND MA INTENA NCE : Avoid placing the units in areas pr one to vibr ation and shock as t hese may cause damage. Avoid areas wher e the units can b e exposed to sud den changes in t emperature, i.
