How does BMI Work? The scale wi ll calculate your BM I (body mass inde x) based on your heigh t and wei ght. Using Your Cal- Max™ / BMI Scale In order for you r Cal- Max™ scale to e stimate cal ories and compute y our BM I number, you must first enter your gender, height and age. The scale uses these factors to calculate you r results. Onscreen promp ts will l ead you through program ming your personal information in to the scal e.
Note #1: You have app rox imately 10 seconds to compl ete each pro gramming step. If no buttons are pressed within 10 secon ds, the scale w ill turn off automa tically to conserve battery pow er. If this occurs, simply repeat the p rogrammin g steps above.
