3 BASIC INSTRUCTIONS USING THE P AN ARM T O MOVE THE SCOPE T o pan the scope side to side or up and down, first loosen the side and/or vertical lock . Then unlock the pan arm by rotating it counterclockwise and use it to move the scope as desired. T o lock the scope in place, rotate the pan arm clockwise and tighten the side/vertical locks.
