Attaching Contr ol P anel Bo x to Handrail 1. Find the control panel bo x, transf or mer brack et, C-clamp and f our (4) locknuts . 2. Attach the control panel bo x to the center handlebar r ail using the C-clamp . Also mount the transf or mer brac ket on two of the studs e xtending through the C-clamp .
Special Features T anita Cor poration’ s electronic scales come standard with these special f eatures: 1. A utozero: The scale will automatically displa y “0” when tur ned on. If a foreign object is placed on the platf orm bef ore tur ning the scale on, it will automatically zero out that object’ s weight.
T aking a W eight Measurement 1. Once the chair weight has been zeroed out and the displa y reads “0, ” ha v e the patient sit on the chair . 2. The moving dashes will loc k in and display the patient’ s weight. 3. W eight measurement should automatically be displa yed on the control panel bo x console.
7. Remov e weight and depress Zero s witch. W ait for a displa y reading of “0. ” Again add kno wn weight to platf or m. If reading is correct, no fur ther adjustments are necessar y . If reading is incorrect, repeat steps 5 and 6 until correct reading is obtained.
