Section 2-6.1 gives detailed instructions on connecting an external power source a nd charging the batteries.
Chapter 3. Setup Configuration Utility 3.1 Introduction This chapter tells you how to configure your system using the SCU (Setup Configuration Utility). The SCU allows you to enter the system configuration inform ation. This information is needed by the sys tem to identi fy the type of devices installed and to set up special features.

Notebook Maintenance 4.1 Introduction This chapter tells how to maintain the notebook in good working order. 4.2 Daily Use For maximum reliability in the field, keep all access doors shut whenever possible. 4.3 Battery Maintenance Maintaining and preserving the battery is a key to keeping the notebook productive in the field.
An important point after buying a device TAG 1000 (or even before the purchase) is to read its user manual. We should do this for several simple reasons:
If you have not bought TAG 1000 yet, this is a good time to familiarize yourself with the basic data on the product. First of all view first pages of the manual, you can find above. You should find there the most important technical data TAG 1000 - thus you can check whether the hardware meets your expectations. When delving into next pages of the user manual, TAG 1000 you will learn all the available features of the product, as well as information on its operation. The information that you get TAG 1000 will certainly help you make a decision on the purchase.
If you already are a holder of TAG 1000, but have not read the manual yet, you should do it for the reasons described above. You will learn then if you properly used the available features, and whether you have not made any mistakes, which can shorten the lifetime TAG 1000.
