16 Controls and connections MA INS SWI TCH / MA I NS SOCKET: The mains switch ac ts as a mains isola tion switch, i.e. it switches the sub-woofer off perman ently. If you will not be using the spe aker for a long p eriod, the mains switch should always be s witched off, or th e mains lead disconnected.
