OPERATING YOUR TRAILMOWER INTENDED USE The 44” Rugged Cut TrailMower is designed to clear dense ar eas of grass and cut saplings up to 1 inch thick on golf courses and small estates. It is not intended to create a finish cut on lawns. Your TrailMower shoul d be towed behind an ATV, golf cart, lawn tractor, or other approved vehicle.
• Return lever to its vertical posi tion to disengage blades. • The braking sy stem is applied when the blades become disengaged. I t is desi gned to bring the blades to quick stop (approx imately 7 sec onds). Each TrailMower brake sy stem h as been tested and calibrated.
TOW HITCH OFFSET • When offsetting the mower do so to the sid e opposite the discharge of the tow vehicle. • Swisher recommends if the tow vehicle is equipped wit h a mid-mount mower to overlap the cut approximately 6”. This may vary depending on mowing terrain, obstacles, and/or tow vehicle.
