• Return lever to its vertical position to disengag e blades. • The braking sy stem is applied when the blades become diseng age d. It is desig ned to bring the blades to quick stop (appr oximately 7 sec onds). Each TrailMower brake sy stem has been tested and calibrated.
TOW HITCH OFFSET • When offsetting the mower do so to the side opposite the discharge of the tow vehicle. • Swisher recommends if the tow vehic le is equipped with a mid-mount mower to overlap the cut approximately 6”. This may vary depending on mowing terrain, obstacles, and/or tow vehicle.
GENERAL TROUBLE SHOOTING The mower is not cutting level. • Le vel deck, making sure the side crank-handles are equal. • Check air pressure of all tires; make sure they are equal. See tires for maximum inflation. • Make certain blade s are installed identical, without the engine r unning.
