English version 4 WC004 - Nightvision Chatcam Introduction • Do not expose the Sweex Nightvision Chatcam to extreme temperatures. Do not place the device in direct sunlight or in the direct vicinity of heating elements. • Do not use the Sweex Nightvision Chatcam in extremely dusty or moist surroundings.
English version 5 Here, select “Complete” and click “Next” twice. During this installation, Windows may display a message that the software has not been certified. This will not affect the correct functioning of the Sweex webcam. All Sweex products and corresponding drivers are tested extensively .
English version 6 Select “No, not this time” and click “Next”. Here, select the option “Install the software automatically” and click “Next”. During this installation, Windows may display a message that the software has not been certified.
English version 7 Viewing the webcam picture The picture of the Sweex webcam can be viewed as follows: Via START go to “All Programs” and select the option “AmCap” under “PC Camera”. In AmCap, open the “Devices” tab. Make sure to select the correct webcam: “SoC PC-Camera”.
English version 8 Snapshot button The Sweex webcam features a ‘snapshot button’. Having viewed the image of the webcam by means of AmCap or another programme, a photo can be taken by pressing this button. The installation is activated after the computer is restarted.
