Chapter 4: AMI BIOS 4-1 Chapter 4 BIOS 4-1 Introduction This chapter describes the AMI BIOS Setup Utility for the X8SAX-C7X58 . The AMI ROM BIOS is s tored in a Fl ash EEPROM an d can be easi ly updated. This ch apter describes the basic navigation of the AMI BIOS Setup Utility setup screens.
4-2 X8SAX/C7X58 How to Start the Setup Utility Normally , the only visible Power-On Self-T est (POST) routine is the memory test. As th e mem ory i s bei ng te sted, press the <D elete> key to ent er th e mai n men u of the AMI BIOS Setup Util ity .
Chapter 4: AMI BIOS 4-3 System Overview: The following BIOS information will be displayed: System Time/Syste m Date Use this option to change the system time and date. Highlight System Time or Sys - tem Date using the arrow ke ys. Enter new values through the keyboa rd.
