5 Thermostat light The thermostat light illuminatesto indicate that the ironsole plate is heating, and goes out whenit has reached the temperature selected on thetemperature dial.
6 Features of your Pro Glide ® 8300 Steam Generator continued Power On Button The power on buttonwill be illuminated RED when the unit is turnedon. Low water indicator The low water indicator illuminates to alert you when it is timeto refill the water tank.
Before first use Remove any adhesive stickers,plastic covers or cardboard sleevesfrom the soleplate. Ensure that alladhesive is removed by rubbing thesoleplate with a cloth dampened with methylatedspirits.
8 Using your iron 1. Insert the plug intoa 230/240 volt power outlet and turnthe power on. 2. Select the power buttonto turn the unit on. ThePower On light illuminates RED as shownin Fig 1.
NOTE: T o prevent water dripping from the soleplate, only use thesteam function on higher temperature settings(•• / silk setting and above). Once you have finishedironing, switch the iron and boileroff by pressing the power button.

After each use 1. T urn the power off and removethe plug from thepower outlet. 2. Allow theiron to cool before winding the cordaround the built-in cord wrap. Storage Empty thetank before storage.
12 5. Remove theboiler cap completely . See fig7 6. Place theunit on its side and carefully pour thedescaling solution into the boiler . Replace thecap. 7. Return theunit to the upright position and leavefor 2 minutes.
