The Model Types The FS-62 is a high quality front opening freezer in white. It has an overs ized compressor to maintain -25°C. This appliance has a reversible door, adjustable thermostat, front indicator lights and slide-out drawers for energy efficiency.
Before Putting Into Use Before connecting the applia nce to the power supply, l eave it standing for about 2 hours, which will reduce a possibility of malfunctions in the cooling system due to transport handling. Clean the appliance thoroughly; especi ally the interior (See Cleaning and Maintenance).
Important If you bought this appliance to repla ce an old one equipped with a lock that cannot be opened from inside (lock, bolt), make sure that the lock is broken. This will make it impossible f or children to lock them selves inside the appliance and suffocate.
Placing and Installation Choosing the Right Place Place the appliance in a dry and regularly ventilated room . Allowed ambient temperature depends on the model (class) of the appliance (is stated on the rating plate of the appliance).
Operation Control The appliance is controlled with the thermostat knob, placed on the front of the appliance in the upper right hand corner. Turn the knob clockwise from stop position towards max and backwards. The controls contain a re d and yellow control light and a thermostat knob.
Changing the Di rection of Opening th e Door If the direction of the door opening inc onveniences you, it may be changed to the opposite side of the freezer were holes ar e already made (excep t on stainless steel towel bar models). • Before changing the door the front side of the appliance m ust be slightly raised.

Cleaning the Appliance Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the applian ce. Do not use coarse or Aggressive cleaning agents as you can damage the surface. • Clean the exterior with water and detergen t. Varnished surfaces are cleaned with soft cloth and an alc ohol based cleaning agent (for example glass cleaners).
Ice Formation on th e Inner Rear Wall As long as the defrost water runs to the channel and through the opening to the drain pan on the compressor, automatic defr osting of the appliance is assured. In case the ice formation on the inner back wa ll is increased (1/8”), ice shou ld be manually defrosted.
