4 T ypical 20 LP propane gas suppl y Instal- lation W e strongly recommend that you use the Summit ® Built-In T ank Cabinet (#21280) for installations using a 20 lb LP cyl- inder , mounted remotely in an “island” structure.
5 LOCA TING Y OUR LP T ANK ENCLOSURE KIT When determining a suitable location for y our LP T ank Enclosure Kit installation, give attention to concerns such as pro ximity to traffi c paths , and keeping any gas supply lines as shor t as possible .

7 MOUNTING THE LP T ANK BRA CKET Mount the LP tank brac ket to the right hand side of the enclosure opening using non corrosive hardw are.. Mounting holes are provided on the sides and bottom of y our LP tank brack et. Be sure to mount the bracket securle y to the enclosure before use .

This line needs to pass through the gas inlet opening to the main gas supply .
9 4) Screw the regulator coupling onto the tank v alve , clock- wise, or to the right. Hand-tighten only . Note: This connection tightens clockwise and will not allow gas to fl ow unless the connection is tight. The connection requires tightening by hand only .
10 Note - Since some leak test solutions, including soap and water , may be slightly corrosiv e, all connections should be rinsed with water after checking f or leaks. Make sure side b ur ner is OFF . T o perform leak checks: open cylinder valv e by turning the cylinder valv e hand-wheel counterclockwise.
11 REFILLING THE LIQUID PROP ANE CYLINDER W e recommend that you refi ll the LP cylinder before it is completely empty . Remov al of the LP cylinder 1) Close cylinder valv e (tur n cloc kwise). 2) Unscrew regulator coupling b y tur ning counterclockwise , by hand only .
12 Liquid Propane (LP) Cylinder(s) • The joint where the hose connects to the LP cylinder must be leak tested each time the LP cylinder is reconnected. F or example , test each time the LP cylinder is refi lled. • Be sure the regulator is mounted with the small vent hole pointed downw ard so that it will not collect water .
