6 Environmental information Disposal Information The lamps inside the display contain mercury. Do not throw the display in the trash. Dispose of it as required by local ordinances or regulations . This equipment has required the extraction and use of natural resources for its production.

8 Intended use This display is an AMLCD display designed for viewing medical X-ray images. This unit should not be used near patients and should be kept outside of 1.83 m perimeter and 2.29 m v ertical. Power connection For use only with power supply SINPRO:HPU100-108 Input : 100-240V~, 47-63Hz, 1.

10 Recommendations for usin g your display system 1. Optimize the lifetime of your display Enabling the Display Power Management System (DPMS) of your display (in the display’s Settings menu) will opti mize its diagnostic lifetime by automatically switching off the backlight when the display is not used for a specified period of time.

12 Cosmetics and oils on the skin are both detrimental to the screen and difficult to remove. • Allow the display to war m up to room temperature be fore turning it on. Avoid sudden temperature changes in the environment, as this may cause condensation, which damages the display.
13 Cleaning the display Observe the following guidelines to maintain display and LCD screen. • Use a clean, lint-free, absorben t cotton cloth to clear off any residual glue from removal of the protective film or to remove surface dust. Apply light pressure to remove the dust.

19 Installation Connecting the display Use only the power adapter, power cord , and the video cables shipped with this display. To setup this display, please refer to the following figure and procedures.
20 Note: To ensure the LCD Display will work we ll with your comp uter, please configure the display mode of your graphics ca rd to make it less than or equal to the na tive resolution, and make su re the timing of the display mode is compatible with the LCD screen.

22 On-Screen Display menus How to use the OSD menus 1. When the display is on and the OSD in not on the screen, press the control wheel. The front illumination is swit ched on for about 10 seconds. 2. To display the main menu , swivel the control wheel while the illumination is on.
23 6. To change an adjustment value or setting , swivel the control wheel to select the adjustment or setting. Next, press the control wheel to go in to edit mode. This is indicated by the trackbar turning dashed. Swivel the control wheel to change the value.
24 Adjustments menu Name Description Luminance Allows to manually adjust th e luminance target if you’d experience the overall image is too dark or too bright. When you change this setting, the display will adjust it s backlight to re ach its target.
25 Name Description Gamma 1.8 Gamma 2.2 Select one of these gamma options in case the display replaces a CRT display with a gamma of 1.8 or 2.2 respectively. sRGB Select this gamma op tion for viewing images intended for the internet. QAWeb Select this option if y ou wish to use the gamma settings defined in QAWeb Agent.

28 Name Description LED Allows to switch the powe r LED’s on state on/off. The LED’s orange DPMS state is not influenced by this setting . So, when the display goes into power saving mode, the LED will turn orange, even if it was switched off by this setting.
29 Information menu Name Description Display Name Indicates the display type. FW Version Indicates the current interna l firmware version. Serial Nr Indicates the display serial number. Backlight Runtime Indicates the total time the display has been operating, excluding the time in stand-by.
30 Appendix Troubleshooting If you are experiencing trouble with the LCD display, refer to the following troubleshooting. If the pr oble m persists, please contact your local dealer or our service center.
31 Problem: Image is scrolling • Check and make sure the video si gnal cable (or adapter) is well connected. • Check and reconfigure the display mode of the vertical refr esh rate of your graphics card to make it compatible with t he LCD Display. Problem: Vague image (characters and graphics) • Use “Clock” to make an adjustment.
