8 3. Using a flat tip screwdriver , rotate the adjusting knob to the desired temperature setting. 4. Replace the covers and access p anels, and turn on heater electrical supply . V alves for reducing point-of-use temperature by mixing cold and hot water are available, see Figure 5 .

Check to see if the heater drain valve is tightly closed. 2. The apparent leakage may be condensation which forms on cool surfaces of the heater and piping.
