1 Introduction The StarT ech.com SV231UAF allo ws a single USB keyboard, mouse and monitor to be switched to access up to tw o computers. The de vice offers a compact design saving desk space, in addition to sa ving the cost of purchasing separate peripherals for each computer .

4 How to Use Hotke y Switching A Hotke y command is a shor t keyboard sequence f or selecting a computer connected to the KVM switch. A hotke y sequence consists of two ke ystrokes (successiv ely within 0.2 seconds). A built-in tone generator creates a high-pitched beep for a correct hotk ey command.
